Kyra Simmons '19 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6ft Middle blocker in the 2019 graduating class of Mason High School (Mason, Ohio). I am currently playing for the club Elevation on the team 17 Reilly.  My GPA is a 4.04 and I would like to pursue/ major in a pre-med program and continue with medical school once I have completed my undergraduate work. 

My club volleyball season has been a great learning experience for me because I am finding that being a part of the competitive team that I am on is raising my level of aggressiveness at the net and preparing me even more to play at the college level. I have been told that I bring my athleticism, strong blocking, hits and high energy to the team! 

I have been working hard on and off the court with focusing on improving my arm swing, eating habits, and overall strength (speed, agility, and stamina). I have recently reached my goal of touching 10 feet on my jump touch. I will continue to work hard to achieve more of my goals and I anticipate even greater things happening for me in the future.
