Samantha Lorenzen '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been a Libero for Ottawa Hills High School for all 4 years of my varsity volleyball career so far and I am a 2023 graduate. Volleyball is my greatest passion, and I am looking to continue my career playing at the collegiate level. I have played many other sports but soon realized that I was meant to keep playing the game that I love which is volleyball. I have been playing volleyball only for 5 years now but volleyball has created so many memories and contributed to some of the best parts of my life. Along with volleyball, I love working out and going to yoga. I have realized both of these have made me improve so much on and off the court. My teammates and I push each other to be the best we can be in the gym working out, or on the court during games, and practices. School is very important to me so I try to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher, and be involved in as many clubs as possible. My day is usually dedicated to school, working out every day, homework, volleyball, and yoga. I am a very hardworking, and coachable athlete and volleyball player, and want to be pushed to become the best player I can be!
