Hi, I am Brynnley Bryant and I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade when I retired from being a gymnast of 11 years. I loved volleyball from the second I stepped onto the court and have been a strong leader for both my school and club teams. In my first season of club volleyball, I was a defensive specialist and took that opportunity to see the court from another perspective, which has strengthened my play in the front row as well. I have been a captain on my club team the last three years and appreciate the responsibility of leading my team. As a freshman on the varsity team, I worked hard to be a 6-rotation player and recognized how to support my teammates as a young player. My sophomore year in high school I earned 1st team league honors and stepped into a setter role, which allowed me to appreciate every position on the court. I finished my sophomore club season being added to the 2022 JVA Watch List for the Class of 2024 as an outside hitter. I earned 1st team league honors and 2nd team district honors for my junior school season. In my final high school season, I earned 1st team league honors and player of the year, 1st team district honors, and honorable mention All-Ohio. I also had the opportunity to participate with my peers in the regional senior all-star game as well as the All-Ohio All-Star game.
I am athletic and learn new skills quickly. I am a leader not only on the court, but in the classroom as well. I have been selected by teachers for academic awards as well as participation in a leadership day two years in a row. I look forward to the coming years to strengthen my skills as a volleyball player and as a leader on and off the court.
