Kelsey Kovar '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kelsey Kovar and I am a sophomore attending Valdosta State University.  I am looking to transfer to another school to continue my studies as well as continue playing varsity volleyball.  I am a 5' 10" outside/right side hitter with five years of club experience as well as 2 years playing Division II volleyball. I fell in love with volleyball during my first year of club. I played many other sports at a high school level, but my passion and commitment is with volleyball. I have a very positive attitude and always support my teammates. I am a very good student and my academics are very important to me as well.  I am open to considering colleges in many geographic areas. I wish to pursue a career as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and to complete an undergraduate degree in Exercise Sciences. One of my greatest assets is that I always demonstrate determination and perseverance in everything I do. To quote a famous American athlete: "It ain't over till it's over" - Yogi Berra.
