Erica Gordon '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Erica Gordon.

I want to play volleyball at the highest level in college. I love to be challenged and push myself to the limit.  All my coaches tell me that I have natural athletic ability and coordination.  I have an understanding of complex team systems and can quickly grasp changes made on the fly. As a left handed player, I play as an opposite. I love to block! My real specialty is passing and service placement with an emphasis on digs. My hitting is coming along nicely as I have one of the best personal coaches, Sam Ojie who is a former DI coach.  Sam looks forward to sharing my progress with any school that is interested. I am 6"3 and have been playing volleyball for the last 8 years.

I have high academic standards and hope to find a university where I can continue to strive academically. I have been an honour roll student to present. In university I would like to major in biology or kinesiology.  My passions are writing, drawing and pop music.

I know that I can make a huge difference to whichever volleyball program will have me. I can't wait!
