Hello!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Regina Jimenez Arroyo, I was born and raised in Mexico, I am 18 years old and I am currently studying my last year of high school in Canada, and I am looking to be accepted in universities that have high performance sports programs. I am very passionate about volleyball, I have been playing since I was 11 years old and I fell in love with the sport and the unique atmosphere it creates. Since we were little, everyone asks us "what we are going to be" when we grow up, and throughout my life that question came and went until now that I have to ask myself seriously. I've never felt like I have the answer, even now that I'm applying to universities I don't feel completely sure "what I want to be". However, when I started playing volleyball I felt like I had found something that I really liked, something that felt right and I knew had potential. Through volleyball I show my way of being. I aspire to improve myself, both physically and psychologically. I think that sport entails much more than the physical, but also what you feel in your heart.
