I hope you and your family are well and healthy, I’m looking forward to getting back on the court to play the sport we know and love. Until then, stay safe!
I am a 6'0” starting setter/ right side attacker on the Halton Hurricanes VC 16U team in Burlington, Ontario. I have a strong desire to improve and develop my volleyball skills to achieve my goal to play volleyball for a D1 college in the USA. My commitment to my team, my coach and my club is unrivaled. My team can count on me for reliable setting due to my technically sound hand on ball contact. I am a dynamic player who contributes to blocking on defense and hitting when positioned on the left side or ride side. I have an energetic spirit when it comes to cheering and supporting my teammates both on and off the court. As a sixteen-year-old volleyball player, one of my key strengths is being coachable, as I constantly review film and stats with my coaches.
Last season, my 16U team finished 5th in U16 Provincial Championships and 3rd in Canadian Nationals. I also enjoy my summers as a volleyball coach at a female development summer camp called Volleygirls.
Academically, I scored a 3.75 GPA as a junior in High School in my first semester this year. I am very interested in graphic design, photography, marketing, fashion communication & design.
During my free time, I like to volunteer as a volleyball coach to help teach elementary school kids how to play volleyball, take photos, create cinematic videos and art such as drawings and paintings. I also love to spend time with my friends and family because they are the ones who motivate me to be the best I can be. I like most genres of music such as pop and indie and I love attending live concerts/performances. I love traveling, especially with my family and friends.
In the off indoor season, I work on strength and conditioning training and on my overall skill development with specific training sessions including indoor camps and beach volleyball open court sessions.
