Prior to playing volleyball, I was a competitive level dancer for 10 years. As I got older I started to feel out of place because I was always significantly taller than everyone around me. Then I found volleyball. My father was the first to introduce me to the sport and encourage me to play. I first started playing volleyball at 15U. When I first stepped onto the court it felt so natural and I knew it’s where I belonged, I’ve been playing volleyball ever since.
I am looking for a school that allows me to find a balance between the court and the classroom so that I am able to stay focused on my academics while pursuing volleyball. My goals academically are to study in Kinesiology and become an Athletic Therapist for a high-performance sports team. As well, my goals athletically are to play collegiately and to one day play for Team Canada as well as internationally.
Many describe me as outgoing, cooperative, athletic, and coachable. I love a challenge and I live by the mantra “PROVE THEM WRONG”. Each of these characteristics allows me to be a positive addition to your team and a successful student-athlete.
