Bryn McKelvy '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Bryn McKelvy, I’m 16 years old and class of 2026. 

I am primarily a right side hitter and a middle blocker, but I have experience playing everywhere on the court. Currently, I play for Athena Bend Volleyball and attend Bend Senior High School, where I was a JV starter for my freshman volleyball season and a Varsity starter for my sophomore season. Volleyball started out as a hobby when I was in third grade, but it has really become my life and I can’t imagine not playing. 

I believe that there is always room for improvement and I always do my best to better my team in whatever way possible, no matter what it takes. I strive to have a “we before me” mentality, and I always try to stay positive and encourage those around me to do the same. I have been told that I am a coachable athlete, and I really try to soak in every word a coach says.

My goal is to continue to play volleyball at the next level while studying something that makes me happy. Due to my positive attitude both on and off the court and my strong academic skills, I know that I will be a great fit for any university with good athletic and academic programs.
