My name is Elizabeth Jenkins, I am a setter for the class of 2019. I plan to become a pediatric nurse. I have played volleyball for eight years and I love it more each time I step on the court. My main position is setter, but I have also played middle back, outside hitter and a right side hitter. I’m a hard-worker and push myself to be the best, I am very competitive and never miss an opportunity to get better. I strive for greatness whether in the classroom or on the court. I have been a volleyball varsity starter since my freshman year and have earned 9 varsity letters in volleyball, basketball, and track. I have been on the superintendent’s list my entire high school career and I am ranked first in my class. I have received awards both athletically and academically. I have received 9 outstanding student awards, and have held a 4.0 GPA for over eight years while taking online college classes. Also, I have been a member in the National Honor Society since my sophomore year. I received High Desert League first team in 2016, 2017, and 2018, second team District Tournament in 2016, and first team District Tournament in 2017 and 2018. I was named team MVP in 2017 and 2018 as well.
