Elyssa Rose '17 Recruiting Profile

First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to review my profile, I am looking to attend a university where I continue to expand my knowledge and skills in both the classroom and court. I am a very dedicated, goal driven individual who has a tremendous work ethic and loves learning as much as competing. In my first two years of high school I have been fortunate to be a starter on our volleyball team that made it to the state playoffs both years. As an outside hitter and middle blocker I lead the team in blocking and hitting percentage. As I entry my Junior year I am looking to expand my serving options and back row skills, along with leadership where I can help develop our younger players. Along with playing volleyball both years I have also been a varsity player on our basketball and track and field teams. This past year as a starting post player for my basketball team, I lead the conference in blocked shots and rebounds. In track and field I was part of the 4 X 100 team that competed in the state championships.

My dedication and drive on the court also carries over to the class room, where I presently carry a 3.80 GPA, I am the President of my High School class, member of the leadership team for the school and a member of the National Honor Society.

My sophomore year I was selected as one of the five female athletics of the year for our entire school, this was a great honor, and something I would not have been able to accomplish without my teammates, coach's and my family.
