Kennedy Toomer '26 Recruiting Profile

I am currently living in West Linn Oregon with my mother, grandfather, and dog London! I attend West Linn High School and play on the varsity team. In my freshmen year, I was on the JV team and learned a lot. I am also on ASB (associated student body) where I learn a lot about leadership and being a role model for others. I have the title of Athletic Commissioner,  so I do a lot of work with the captains of the team on campus. I am president of BSU (black student union) and get to work hands-on with black students of West Linn High School and get to amplify our voices. I was born in Oakland California and moved to Oregon in 2017. 

I play club volleyball for the Titans 18-1 team. I have played volleyball for the last 5 years after trying out soccer and realizing the outdoor sport was not for me. 2 years ago, I was on the 16 national teams at NPJ,  and last year, I was on the 17 national teams.  I play beach volleyball for NWE Beach in the summertime.  Beach volleyball is not my favorite way to play volleyball, but it’s a great way to get reps and stay in shape before the high school season starts. I do workouts and camps as much as I can, with all my school and home activities added on.
