Hi! My name is Teju Arun, c/o 2027. I’ve always believed that when I set my mind to something, there’s no turning back, and that mindset has shaped how I approach both life and this sport. When I started playing volleyball, it wasn’t easy—I faced a lot of injuries and moments where it felt like progress was slow. But I stuck with it, learning along the way that success comes with its share of tough nights. For me, volleyball is more than just a game; it’s something I take seriously and care deeply about. Whether I’m at practice, playing a match, or just thinking about how to get better, volleyball is always on my mind. As a teammate, I work hard to make sure I’m someone my team can count on. I love being part of a group that pushes each other to improve and succeed together. I always give my best effort, and I’m not afraid to challenge myself to reach new heights (literally—I’ve got a 10'2 approach jump). Off the court, I keep the same level of focus. I have a 4.05 GPA, have been on the honor roll since freshman year, and play for 16 Platinum (National 1’s) with TNT Volleyball Club. Although I’ve only been playing for a year, I’ve worked hard to learn the game quickly and exceed expectations. While I can’t promise specific outcomes, I can promise to bring my determination, work ethic, and fight to every practice and game. I’d love the chance to talk more about how I can contribute to your program!
Thank you for your time
Best,
Teju Arun
