Personal Statement

I am a diligent and hard worker. I volunteer at a hospital one day every week for 3 hours. In the off season I play for my club team and receive training at a sports training center for speed and agility in order to improve my jumping and power hitting skills. I also competitively dance which improves my agility and balance as well.

As a 2023 graduate Sofia still has time to develop physically and become an elite player. Continue to prioritize building lower body strength. As that will help you continue to be explosive, fast and help with your side to side movement. Communication is a big part of the game at any level. Be sure to remain vocal as it helps to build trust with teammates and it will help to develop your defensive awareness on the court. And help you to let other players know what is available on the other side of the court to hit offensively. You have a great skill set. Be confident in what you bring to a team. When you're confident you play your best, minimize errors and help to bring up the play of those on the court with you
