Personal Statement
I have been playing and enjoying volleyball since 7th grade. My biggest achievement was to be selected to represent Pennsylvania down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for High Performance this past summer. This experience made me realize how many talented athletes there are and how hard I will have to work to make it into a good college program.
Through volleyball, I have learned that I am very determined and do not like to give up. Academically, I will strive to keep earning distinguished honor roll on my report cards and continue a high GPA through high school into college. To get where I am, I have had to make some tough decisions. One of those decisions was choosing and continuing with a club volleyball team that can get me farther in life and skill. Experiencing these decisions taught me work ethic and determination that I can bring to your program.
