My name is Naiomi Rivera and I am 18 years old. As part of my sports experience, I have participated in several volleyball teams. I started playing volleyball since I was 7 years old and over time I have been able to obtain and develop some skills by playing, in some cases, the middle blocker position, the opposite hitter position and the setter position. I had the opportunity to compete with some teams from club and from school, in international and local tournaments, and sometimes we won first, second or third place. Throughout my school years, I have been working hard to stay on the honor roll. That’s why I will continue to work hard to achieve my goals: contribute my skills in a competitive college volleyball team and to obtain a career in the health area.
I have qualities that make an ideal athlete and setter, such as: good height, skills, resources, and leadership. I like to maintain good chemistry and communication with players given that volleyball is a sport that relies heavily on teamwork. I consider myself a person with a great sense of responsibility and persistence in both the classroom and the court.
If I get the opportunity of being part of a college volleyball experience, I will work as I have been doing to ensure excellent execution and commitment.
