My name is Isabella Indira Aviles - Class 2025. I am a 6'0” Setter that can also play multiple positions like OH/OPP. I am the captain of my high school team. My position on the Notre Dame School team in Caguas, Puerto Rico is Pin Hitter and Setter. I begin my season at the PR Arsenal Volleyball Club in Arecibo as Setter under the direction of coach Eduardo Galarza "Cocolo" who is also the coach of the PR 19U National Team.
I have a 3.7 GPA and I’m part of the National Honor Society.
After an evaluation of more than 300 athletes around Puerto Rico, I was selected in the group of fifteen players who are within the National 19U Program as Setter. I had the opportunity to be in the training sessions of the national team, an experience that as an athlete, it has been the most important because representing Puerto Rico has always been one of my dreams. Last year’s season, I was selected to participate in the All Star Volleyball Tournament in the varsity category.
I am interested in studying at a university that offers me an academic curriculum that will help me in my professional goals but also give me the opportunity to play volleyball at the highest level. I want to study Biology and then continue my studies in as a chiropractor.
