Ana Fuertes '22 Recruiting Profile

 Hi! As an all year round player, representing my school in the fall and my club in the spring, it is a goal of mine to attend a university where I could become a member of the Volleyball Team while pursuing my academic interests. I'm looking for a program that fits me athletically as well as academically. I find my character and leadership skills to be the type that make a positive impact on your program. I'm a very committed and determined athlete that is always up for a challenge in or outside the court, while always applying the suggestions coaches make to my game as they also help my overall understanding of the sport. I'm a very resilient and hardworking athlete who loves being pushed to her limits in order to improve every day. There's nothing better than winning a hardcore game with your teammates and knowing all your hardwork and discipline paid off. I take my education seriously. I find myself to be a principled student-athlete with good grades and adequate time-management skills. I like to challenge myself; therefore, I'm enrolled in some Honors and AP Courses. I have been able to balance academics and sports in Academia Maria Reina while preparing for my future collegiate life. The many qualities sports offer to my persona have led me to achieve many things academically and athletically. I will undeniably make the most out of my Collegiate Volleyball experience, while representing the institution with energy and pride.
