Taylor Simoneau '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Simoneau and I am currently a Senior at Cranston East High School in Rhode Island.  I started playing sports at a very young age; starting with softball and basketball. I have spent many years learning how to successfully juggle being both a multi-sport athlete and an honor roll student. Upon entering middle school, I discovered volleyball and fell in love.

As a freshman, I was the setter for the JV team and swung for the Division I Varsity team. I also joined a volleyball club my freshman year and discovered the role of libero/defense specialist.  In my next three years of high school I started Varsity and got the chance to play with and learn from many teammates who have gone on to play for division I and II colleges.  

I truly enjoy the comradery that comes from playing together as a team and understand the importance of team support whether I’m on the court or the bench.  I'm dedicated, hardworking and motivated to continue my volleyball career past high school.
