Hello, my name is Gianna Ramos. Volleyball has been a major part of my life since I began middle school. It has provided me an outlet where I can feel completely confident in myself and in my athletic abilities. Volleyball has motivated me to do well in school, which I believe would make me a good candidate for your team. I have always been good at multitasking, and being an athlete while managing classes and an unweighted 4.51 GPA, has been something I have learned to adapt to. In college, I would like to pursue a degree to become a speech therapist, as well as play sports. I have a passion for working with the special education students at my high school and they have helped me learn what I want to do with my life. I think that experiences, such as the ones I have had with the special education students, set me apart from other recruits. I have learned patience and temperance, as well as team work and compassion. I carry these lessons with me onto my sports teams as well, and I believe that they make me a strong leader, a good teammate, and confident player. Playing with your team in mind leads to positive results, and that is something I completely believe in. I have been taught that having a positive attitude results in positive results, which is something that I carry with me on the court, in the classroom, with my peers, and in my everyday life.
