Playing post secondary volleyball has been my goal since age ten, when I was first introduced to the game. As I have gotten older this dream has grew to where I am today. This oportunity could truley change my life and I will try my very best to make this dream come true.
In the classroom, I work very hard to maintain a high average. I strive to acheive high academics and athletics as I feel excelling at both makes you not only a well rounded player but most importantly a well rounded person. I find it extremely important to be able to balance school and volleyball and with determination and hard work I know it is possible.
I have been the captain of my club team for the past four years and co-captain of Team Sask Provincial Team, I feel having a positive outlook both on and off the court helps provide me with strong leadership. Always having a smile on my face and encouraging my teammates to stay strong is one of my best aspects as a player. I love to be the player on the team who rises my teammates to the next level and pushes them to be their very best.
As a player, I am very coachable and I am always willing to try new things. I have a strong work ethic and I strive to be the harest working athelte on and off of the court. My strongest ability as a player is my defence and a strong jump serve.
Academics plays a very important part as to where I would go. I have not decided exactly what I want to take, but I know it will be something in the health field. That being said, I am open to all opportunities that are available for me to play because I would like to find the best option available to me. I look forward to hearing from you, as I feel I would be an asset to your team.
