Sharlyce Jones '14 Recruiting Profile

 Hi ,my name is Sharlyce Jones from Austin, Texas. i have one year of club volleyball under my belt but, I've played since third grade. i stand strongly at 5'3 and my primary postions are libero and DS for my varsity high school team LBJ High School. My all time dream is to play on the USA Olympic team in 2016. getting accepted to college for volleyball would get me even closer to my goal. since the first time i picked up a volleyball i instantly fell in love with the sport, no other sport that I've played over the years receives the same passion as volleyball does. when i go out on that court i feel like a different person, like i'm in my own safe zone. my goal after high school is to  play volleyball in college theres no one out the like me. im faster and stronger, i may not be the best but i work the hardest to become it, i love to practice because thats where i fix mistakes so my game can improve. when im on the court i'm all over the place and i'm the loudest one on both sides of the net. i feel that i can help my team be in position when i yell out whats abut to happen and i help my hitters hit in directions where there are wholes. i try to play every game like its my last. i'm not the tallest person but i am one that will catch your attention. one of my goals is to be apart f a team that is determined to lay their hardest and win along the way, as well as gain a positive experience i prefer a school closer to home but as long as i can play the sport i love the school isnt that bing of a deal. i plan to major in criminal justice and become and entertainment lawyer, or either become a physical therapist.
