Leah Butler '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10" 125 lb. junior middle blocker from Carrizo Springs, Texas. I have a standing reach of 7'8", a vertical of 9'2", and an approach jump of 9'9 1/2". I am extremely dedicated to volleyball and I am very hard worker who is "coachable". I received honorable mention of my district my sophomore year and I also received 1st team all district my junior year. I am the team captain, and I have great leadership skills on and off the court. I have been playing club for 2 years. Although I have had a late start at playing club, it is my dream to play volleyball at a collegiate level. Whether it is conditioning or game time, I hustle to the end. I can run a 400m lap in 63 seconds so I have a lot of endurance, stamina, and an excellent work ethic. I have a high vertical and I am an all around athletic person. I would like to major in forensic psychology and computer forensics. A college that has a good forensics school would be to my interest. The size and location of the university I attend does not matter to me. My goals in collegiate level volleyball is to keep learning and play at my peak performance. It would be a dream come true to play my freshmen year and I am going to work and do whatever it takes to make my dreams and goals become a reality. Thank you for your time and patience. God Bless
