Allison Allen '26 Recruiting Profile

Howdy! My name is Allison Allen, but everyone just calls me Allie! The first time I played volleyball was on a YMCA team in kindergarten, and I haven't looked back since! Volleyball has been such a big part of my life. Going to a small 2A private school for most of my life definitely impacted me. I was able to have experiences most aren't able to at the young age I was. I was able to compete against 6A public school varsity teams as only an eighth grader on varsity. My freshman and sophomore years, we won state in our division (TCAL) and I was blessed to be named MVP of the tournament both years! For my junior year I transferred to Incarnate Word Academy, TAPPS 4A, and am loving it! I play for Corpus Christi Storm's National 16s team. I am a spark plug for my teams, getting them motivated and keeping them focused. My coaches play me all around. I even played middle hitter once! My offseason is spent volunteering at the Texas State Aquarium as an Aqua Teen. I get to interact with all the guests and answer questions at the exhibits. A little fun fact about me is that I am very ambidextrious! I mainly use my right hand for large motor skills and my left hand for fine motor skills, like writing. However, I love using my left hand for fun by adjusting to off sets, one handed digs, and setter dumps! I love new challenges and can't wait to see what the future holds!
