Cara Marshall '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches, my names is Cara Marshall. A few things about me, I am 16 years old and will soon attend Desoto high school in the fall of 2025. When I grow up, I want to become a dermatologist and one of my goals for high school is to become valedictorian for the class of 2027. Besides playing volleyball as my number one hobby, I enjoy doing hair and I've always liked to draw. Most of my peers perceive me as congenial which makes more than enough sense because I love to socialize and make new friends whenever I am given the opportunity too. I've always identified the game of volleyball as a mental game, a game of mistakes, and who can make the least number of mistakes. Having a good mindset is just as important as my physically ability on the court. I strive to always be positive because it helps me throughout my rough days, and it can influence my peers around me. Whether this positivity is regarding school, work, or just even daily life situations, being able to stay optimistic can help guide your reliance, discipline and focus on the court and as well as off.
