Kennedy White '21 Recruiting Profile

At the age of 4 years old, I saw my first volleyball game and knew volleyball was what I wanted to pursue. As a single mom of 3 children, my mother did not have the financial means to place me in club sports. So, I would continue watching volleyball games on TV and practice on my own until I attended a public school that allowed me to play at no financial cost.

Once I entered 7th grade, my dream came true. I made the 7th grade volleyball B team as a starter but knew that I did not want to settle playing on the B team. Therefore, I worked on my skills and made the 8th grade a team as a starter and became captain.

Currently, I am an outside hitter for Duncanville High School and will graduate in the year 2021. for the 2019-2020 season I received a 1st team all district award. In addition to playing school volleyball, I also play with TAV Volleyball Club located in Mansfield TX. As a club player, I am captain of my team and play as a 6 rotation player. 

As a committed volleyball student- athlete, I am open to any geographic region and welcome the opportunity to play collegiate volleyball.
