Anna Thomas '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior at Timber Creek High School in Keller, Texas, a suburb of Fort Worth.  I am the libero on our school's varsity team for the 2017-18 school year.

I was the starting libero on my high school’s junior varsity team for my freshmen year, and we compiled a 20-16 record that season.  My coaches and teammates named me the outstanding defensive player for the team.

My sophomore year, I was a starting DS for my varsity team, and our record was 24-15.

My junior year, I was the team's libero, we made the playoffs for the first time in four years, and I was named the district 3-6A Defensive Player of the Year.

For the past four years, I have also been the libero on my club team, No Limits VBC  17.1. We qualified for nationals and placed 17th in the National division.

I consider myself a hard-working, coachable player who likes to be challenged.  I think quickly on the court, and my coaches and teammates view me as a leader.   I want to play volleyball in college, and I am working hard both on and off the court to be well prepared.

I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and I am ranked #1 in my junior class.  I scored a 1460 on the SAT and a 33 on the ACT. I am a strong math and science student, and I plan on pursuing a degree in a math or science field.
