I came to America from Russia when I was very young, I came here not knowing anything. As a young child I was very active, loud and playful, as I started growing up I wanted to play every single sport. When i became old enough to start participating in the sports I made sure my parents signed me up. I then played everything and it was hard deciding which I liked best, In middle school i narrowed down my decision to just volleyball and basketball and later when i proceeded to High School I discovered that I loved Volleyball and that's the game i wanted to devote my time to.
During the winter of 2015 I was faced with a terrible situation where i had to over come adversity and stay strong through a difficult situation that I had thought had put my Athletic career in High School on the line. I had torn my ACL at our last district basketball game and it being the night before one of our big Club Volleyball Tournaments. Throughout this hard time I stayed strong and pushed my self everyday so i could get back to where I was before. I learned that things can happen to you and you never know when it will be your last time on the court so that's why giving 100% everyday is a huge necessity in athletics.
I love the game of volleyball and I'm willing to work hard everyday and try new things for my team and I to be successful.
