Giannelle Asomani '25 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball drives me academically and physically, pushing me to be my very best on and off the court. I wish to attend a competitive volleyball program as well as a school where I can accomplish my academic goals which is to major in a biology, chemistry, or a pre med program as I hope to become a dermatologist in the future. Over the time I've played the DS/Libero position the thrill and the rush it gives me is something I enjoy everyday. Making those quick movements, having a strong mentality, and most importantly being a leader/controlling the back row is what makes my position so special. This game is my passion and has taught me so many things especially verbal and physical leadership (serve receive and defensive seams). I always will support my team, be the loudest one cheering and will always favor what's best for the team. It’s important to me to be the hardest worker,  and set the example for everyone around you, giving 110% no matter what I'm doing. I’ve always been taught to trust the process and I have already improved so much in skill over the few years I have been playing. I see potential in myself and I hope that you do too!

I find it most important to have the most energy, be the loudest communicator, and always take care of your grades. I am ready to learn so much on the court and in the classroom from whoever is willing to teach me!
