My collegiate goals are to get a great education in the field of my choice, meet new people who may or may not think like me, and to play volleyball at a D1 or D2 level. As a member of any team, my goal is to improve continually during my time on the team both in my skills and my mental game. One factor that makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am choosing to get better every day, whether it's learning something new and trying my best at it or putting in more reps to perfect a skill.  Another thing that makes me stand out from other recruits is that I am a team player, encouraging teammates with the understanding that it makes the team better overall. Through solid practices and repetitions, both my teammates and I gain confidence in not only our skills but in the skills of each other, keeping us more mentally prepared for our opponents. Finally, but possibly most importantly, I am a self-disciplined student and believe that in making my education a priority, I will in turn be a better player and teammate.
