Alexis Sweet '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a social person, and I love communicating on and off the court with my fellow team mates! I enjoy discussing  drills and plays that can better help our team as well communicating with coaches on how I can better my play everyday, while supporting my team mates to reach our goals together. I was a starter on our JV team as a freshman, but I am also very focused on academics.  I am currently maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the IB program at Garland High School.  I love filling my spare time with my dogs, or with volunteer work like helping the U-12 volleyball teams in my local city in their leagues and tournaments.  Coaching helps me see the game from a different angle, and I try to be a positive leader so that they that will fall in love with a sport like volleyball, just like I did several years ago! Some goals I have is to play on a competitive team in college, and I am hoping to find a school that will allow me to both participate in athletics, and achieve academically at high levels, creating a healthy balance to get the most out of my college experience!
