 Hi Coaches! Thank you so much for taking the time to view my profile. I can't imagine the amount of players you are looking at and really appreciate the opportunity to be considered for your roster! 

 I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade and have been in love with the sport ever since I picked up a volleyball. I have participated in many sports over the years, such as gymnastics, soccer, basketball, and track, but volleyball has always been my number one. The fast pace of the game, the necessary involvement from the entire team, and the need to stay alert at all times are all things I love about this exhilarating game. 

 As a DS/L, I understand that my first contact often sets the tone for the entire play. My goal is to consistently deliver solid first contacts to set my team up for success, both on and off the court. Likewise, if I need to take the second contact and set a teammate up for a hit, my goal is to always set my teammate up in the best position for them to successfully hit the ball. I know that our team can only score points when we work together and that a great kill often comes from a great set which often comes from a great pass. No matter which touch I take, I always aim to complete my "assignment" of putting the ball in the best position for my team. 

 Academics hold a central place in my life as a student-athlete. I am currently ranked 14/836 in my class with a GPA of 4.8, reflecting my dedication to education and growth. Between academics and volleyball, I have learned to manage my time wisely, the importance of a proper amount of rest, and how to be a great teammate and friend both on and off the court. 

 Throughout the year, I dedicate myself to enhancing my volleyball skills. This includes competing during the school season in fall, committing to my club team in the winter and spring, and engaging in daily strength training along with attending numerous camps and clinics during the summer. I love practicing and training, both during and after volleyball season because I know that as I better myself, I am bettering my team and entire organization. To be able to continue my volleyball journey during college would be absolutely surreal! I would really like to study business, finance, or accounting.
