Gabby Hunter '19 Recruiting Profile

For the past 4 years, I have enjoyed playing Volleyball and have become a very competitive, versatile and enthusiastic player, who leads by example. I have a high level of integrity and live a life that honors Christ. My coaches say my strongest asset is my versatility and coachable attitude. I strive to be the hardest worker both on and off the court, and be the kind of player that makes my teammates better. When I see one of my team mates struggling, I do my best to encourage them. I realize a good team works together, as a unit, encouraging each other to play their very best. I try to be loud and play with energy, which ignites the rest of the team. 

Outside of Volleyball, I am very active in my Church in various ways. I work with the Children's Ministry and I'm involved in the Youth Ministry.   My other passion is working with horses at a rescue center. I volunteer several hours each work feeding, grooming and whatever needs to be done on the ranch. I am the kind of person who sees a need and jumps in to take care of it without being told, enjoy hard work and the feeling of accomplishment it brings.

I want to make a difference in the world through Equine Therapy and I'm very committed to my studies to ensure I reach my goals, both for playing collegiate Volleyball and in my career.  I look forward to playing Club Volleyball this season so I can grow as a player, both in skill and leadership.
