Sofia Cruz-Montes '22 Recruiting Profile

When I was little my sisters used to play volleyball (they were 4 and 3 years older). I never really understood why they enjoined it so much until I got my hands on the ball. And years later I still have that same connection. Volleyball plays a big role in my life. It not only keeps me going but it also created an ultimate drive. My motivation to continue moving forward is unceasing. I have a clear goal in sight which is to be and play to the best of my abilities. I have learned to become successful though disciple and work, wether it’s on or off the court. I contain true heart for this sport and with the support of my family it’s only strengthens. 

My academic goal is to maintain a 3.7 gpa. I want to pursue a bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
