From the first time I stepped on the court, I knew that playing volleyball would be one of my favorite activities and bring me so much joy. I've been playing volleyball for five years, and I am confident in my athletic ability and willingness to push myself towards success, no matter what it takes.
On the court I have high volleyball IQ, great communication skills, strong defense, and an even better offense. As a natural leader, I strive to be mentally tough and encouraging towards my teammates, while also being very coachable and eager to learn new things. Throughout my athletic career, I have tried my best to be one of the hardest working players, and I plan on continuing to do so on a collegiant level.
In the classroom, I make a conscious effort to study hard and maintain straight A's and/or A/B Honor Roll while being enrolled in honors classes and dual credit courses through UT and LoneStar. I want to attend a college that will believe in me and push me to do my best both on and off the court. My collegiate goal is to receive a doctorate degree in physical therapy while also playing the sport that I love. In the future, I plan on being a first generation college graduate and working for the National Basketball Association as a physical therapist. In the end, I hope to become a great role model to my siblings and my peers, while also making my parents and grandparents proud.
