Olivia Baker '26 Recruiting Profile

I'm Oli, a senior at Leander High School. I have thrown shot put, discus, and javelin as long as I can remember. I have been a part of Great Esteem Track Club since 2018 (4th grade) and I have competed for school track since 2022 (8th grade). My freshman year I received the rising star award and I earned first place throwing discus in the freshman division at our district competition. I have qualified for AAU Junior Olympics every year since 2018, and in 2022 I earned an All American Honor in the 3000m Racewalk.

Outside of sports, I have been in the Varsity choir since sophomore year. This past year, Varsity Treble received the sweepstakes award at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation. We received Superior ratings from all six judges. With our school's theatre department, I have also been in the ensemble cast of "Matilda the Musical,"  "9 to 5 the Musical," and I plan to audition for "Singin' in the Rain" this year.

This summer, I completed Environmental Systems through UT High School. This is my third summer course successfully completed in my high school career.
