Savannah Rucker '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello to all the recruiters, coaches, and volleyball players!  My name is Savannah Grace Rucker and I will graduate with the class of 2028.  I have many high priorities in my lifestyle, and Volleyball is one of the highest on the list.  I have been playing Volleyball for about 7 years. My favorite part about Volleyball is the team effort that is included within the sport itself.  Volleyball is a true passion of mine, and I’ve learned, over the years, that hard work, team bonding and unity, but also the mentality of the game are all key to the sport.  As the years go by through school, I pray that my teammates would someday become lifelong friends.  I'm very coachable and love to learn whether that be in the classroom or on the court. I enjoy hanging out with all my teammates and encouragement is my best quality. I believe that encouraging others can help them go a long way, and not just yourself. I am striving to become a college math professor and a college head Volleyball coach.  I graduated 8th grade as #1 in my class and I’m ready to start Dual Credit and Honors classes through high school.  I love to participate in any and all extracurricular activities that are available to me, and I never miss a chance to have fun with friends or family!  I am very active in my family church.  Whether that be serving in the kids ministry, singing in worship, or going to camps or mission trips.  I will always do everything for our Lord Jesus Christ’s glory and honor.  One of my favorite Bible verses states, ”For I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.  -Philippians 4:13”  As I go on through my years at college, I pray that I will leave a lasting impact of Christ, wherever I go!
