As a Libero we have to have the mentality that every single ball is yours. And that’s my mentality. I am Abby Fisher, a 2025 Libero from Spring Hill High School in Longview, Texas. I lead my team in digs and I was the Co-Libero of the year for District 17-4a, as well as academic all district. I lead my team as Libero going into the 5th round as regional finalists. My hard work and hustle is what I love about the game. I have so much passion for volleyball and my strive to make every single ball better is one of those passionate reasons. Coach-ability is one of the number one things in volleyball. I always tell myself, “Okay Abby, don’t make the same mistake twice, especially if you can fix it.” It shows that you take into account what your coach is telling you! I am going to be team captain going into my Junior year and I plan to be an upperclassman that the team can look up to. Talking on the court is so important especially as a Libero. I always talk to my hitters and bring the energy when it’s down.
