In second grade I started playing volleyball as a hobby, I never would have thought one of my biggest dreams would have been to play in college. My passion for volleyball has grown immensely over the past 9 years and I'm so excited to see what the future will bring with hard work and dedication. I've had great seasons and seasons I wasn't sure I was going to make it through. I've suffered setbacks and major injuries but always learned to fight through them. Early in my 8th grade season I was coming down from a hit and landed wrong and broke both my tibia and fibula, fighting back from this injury taught me humility and perseverance. Volleyball has not only made me physically but mentally stronger as well. I've learned to balance my academics with a pre-AP and AP course load. I hope to pursue a degree in law while playing in college. I have learned how to become a leader and how to push through when life, or seasons, get tough. I'm hoping to continue playing in college so I can keep developing and becoming not only a stronger athlete but person as well.
