Sophie Manson '19 Recruiting Profile

Coaches,

I am a 3 time National Champion.  I have won 2 indoor USAV Open National Championships and 1 beach USAV Open National Championships.  I was a 6 rotation starter as a freshman on my high school volleyball team and selected as off season captain.  Being selected by my peers speaks of my character and camaraderie as they chose me to lead.  I was selected as District 10-5A Newcomer of the Year in 2015-2016.  Prep Volleyball listed me as a FROSH 59, a top varsity playing freshman in the country.  

I am in love with the sport of volleyball and it is that passion that has led me to experience success.  I bring with me enthusiasm, strength, court awareness and drive.   The beach sport has created in me a player who is has a arsenal of tools to use on the indoor court.  My goal is to be the player who lifts others to be the best they can be while we unite to create a force who reaches goals and expects nothing but excellence on and off the court.  My academics are equally as important to me.  I was honored with District 10-5A Academic All-District award, maintain a 4.2 GPA and am one of very few freshman who are currently enrolled in two AP classes as a freshman at McKinney High School.    

I desire a D1 college volleyball experience where not only am I on the court playing but receiving a top notch education because my drive does not stop on the court.  I am that player looking for the pie in the sky experience, the player who wants to continue to compete for National Titles throughout college and I am certain that in me you will find a player who will give you my all.
