My goal is to major in engineering. I naturally lean towards the sciences and tend to excel in my science classes. I thoroughly enjoyed my STEM courses since my freshmen year. I hope to move on to do graduate studies in the same field.
My work ethic is insurmountable. I live for the game and even when I am not in an actual gym, I find ways to condition and work on footwork to keep my mind in focus. There is always room to improve and I work hard to continuously push myself in and out of the gym. I have always worked to meet the needs of the team I am playing for and to adhere to the expectations of the coach I am training with. I have an amazing sense of the game, court awareness, drive, passion, and immediate self-reflection of my performance.
I have a passion and competitiveness that keeps me driven. I see potential in players when they see none. I work to not only make myself better but to make the team as a whole better. Regardless of who is on my team, I hold a deep respect for the game to play with a competitive spirit that enables me to compete with a winning attitude.
When I am not doing volleyball related activities, I am working on my studies. I am a self-proclaimed bookworm. There is no volleyball without my grades. I do what is necessary to also push myself in the classroom. I am part of the National Honor Society and have maintained 3.9/4.0 GPA. I was on the Academic All-District Team in 2018. I have overcome personal obstacles to be my very best in the classroom.
