My collegiate journey looks a little different than you might think. I graduated high school in 2019 and hit a snag in my plans. I took the year to work on myself and started my college career in 2020. With COVID effecting volleyball season, I gained a year of eligibility. I am now (spring 2022) a sophomore with three years of eligibility to play at the college level.
My experiences as a counselor and four years as team captain taught me to handle adversity and to do my best to be a positive influence. I work hard and try to influence my teammates to work hard as well. I have been told by passed coaches that I am extremely coachable. They have also said that I am at my best as a player during a game. When the heat is on, I'm focused and ready to do my job.
