Personal Statement
My name is Ryann Vik and I am a 6’1, 160lbs middle blocker. Volleyball is my happy place, my passion, and some thing I definitely want to pursue going forward in the future with high school and college. My family is an athletic soccer family. Soccer was the sport I thought I was going to play forever, but I realized after stepping on the volleyball court time and time again, that I wanted to be on the court more. I switched to club volleyball from club soccer in 2020 because I wanted to follow my heart, and I have not regretted that decision since. I love playing with my teammates, going against some amazing competition, and playing the sport I love. It is important to me to be a part of a team as I believe it builds character and provides important values I can carry through life. I can’t wait to learn, grow, and develop into a better athlete, teammate, student, and overall person.
