Hello there, I’m Adonica!

My goals as an athlete are to play college volleyball and be a starter. I've been playing volleyball since I was in the seventh grade and I love it! I knew from that moment that I want and can achieve something big. For years I've been working out, running, lifting, and playing

My goals as a student are to graduate Magna Cum Laud and obtain both an athletic and academic scholarship to offset the cost of attending college.

My freshman and sophomore years I suffered some set backs due to injuries but I never lost sight of my goals.  I have a strong work ethic, and I am a flexible and a coachable athlete.   I'm an overcomer and I have been working very hard to come back stronger and better than I was before.  I have a lot of potential and I'm continuously working to mature into the athlete I can become.  I have made the 18’s National Team at San Antonio Magic and am enjoying being able to compete with them this year.  I love volleyball and am hungry to play college ball.  

What makes me different from others is that I am highly motivated, a go getter, and I can overcome obstacles.   I can move quickly on the court and can jump high.  I’m a leader and team player.  I’m enthusiastic, every point we earn I’m jumping in the air yelling my head off, keeping the energy on and off the court.  If a coach wants me to improve on my skills or academics then I will do it no questions asked.  

As for my academics, I take mostly pre-AP and AP classes and I am part of the Johnson High School Distinguished Jags.   I am involved in Student Council and various other organizations.  I work part time in the Special Events Department at my church and in my spare time I volunteer at my church with the children’s ministry.

I have set high goals that are challenging but I know are attainable.  My ultimate goal is to play college volleyball and earn a degree in a medically related field.  I look forward to visiting with you and answering any questions you may have to see if we are a good fit for each other.
