Hi Coaches!
My name is Avery Myers, and I'm from San Antonio, Texas. I'm part of the Class of 2027, standing at 5'9", and I play as an outside hitter for SA Juniors 16 Baden. Additionally, I serve as a middle blocker/opposite for John Marshall High School volleyball. My versatility allows me to support my team in whatever way they need. This marks my third year playing club volleyball and my fourth year overall in the sport.
I maintain a 3.8 GPA. I aspire to major in psychology and pursue my doctorate, with a keen interest in either forensic psychology or sports psychology. I am a hardworking and determined athlete, always eager to improve and highly coachable. I take great joy in cheering for those around me. My outgoing personality shines both on and off the court, and I remain vocal throughout practices and games. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, with my family, reading, or lifting weights at the gym. I'm seeking a college that not only challenges me as an athlete but also supports me in achieving my academic aspirations!
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction! I'm excited about the opportunity to connect with coaches who share my passion for both volleyball and academic excellence. My journey in volleyball has taught me resilience, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, all of which I believe will help me succeed at the collegiate level. I look forward to finding a program where I can contribute my skills and enthusiasm, while also growing as a student and athlete. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or if you'd like to learn more about my experiences and goals. I am eager to explore the possibilities and hope to find a team that feels like a second family. Thank you again for considering me as a potential member of your program!
