My name is Karli Stanley and I am a setter for the class of 2020. I began playing volleyball during the summer of my 6th grade year and began playing competitive club volleyball the following spring of that same year. I absolutely love playing the game, love my teammates, and appreciate all the instruction my coaches have offered me during my short career as a player. My goal is to improve my individual skill set each time I step on the court so that I can contribute towards the overall team success. My strengths include leadership, teamwork, and a hard work ethic. However, no matter what I might list as my strengths my main goal is to improve in every aspect of the game each time I get to play. Off the court, my priorities revolve around faith, family, and friends. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, reading, writing, and anything nature or outdoor related. My family keeps me extremely busy as my two sisters are highly active in extracurricular activities as well. My greatest influences have been my parents in which I love and appreciate the most! My goal is to continue playing volleyball collegiately, but ultimately I would like to find a great university that meets both my academic and athletic expectations.
