Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball my seventh grade year and worked a great deal to strengthen my skills so that I may have the opportunity to possibly play at the collegiate level.
I obtain quick movement on the court and great hands as a setter. Not only do I have the ability to set, but I also have great defense due to my experience as a libero for my freshmen and sophomore year on Varsity which gives me the ability to read the hitters strategic moves. I am a great leader for my team by always striving to strengthen my skills and encouraging my teammates. I am dependable, coachable, and always willing to learn to improve as a volleyball player.
As a student, I have stayed in the Top 10 since my Freshmen year. In addition, I have volunteered to coach volleyball to young children every year in high school. I am involved in National Honor's Society and the treasurer of student council. I long to major in biology to pursue a career in pediatrics in the future.
I desire to attend a college where I can excel in both the athletic department and educational department of the college. I am open to all options that are available to me.
