Mariah Davis '27 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Mariah Davis, I graduate in 2027 and am currently attending Taft High School. My position for school this year is currently middle but my coach will switch it up and let me be an outside hitter and play back row too. Last year when I played for Corpus Christi Storm Volleyball it helped me get better in only a matter of months, I saw a difference in my hits, blocking, and even my defense too. My communication on and off the court is good and I am very smart with where I place the ball especially in very competitive games too. When I was in middle school I was struggling to find myself but then I was introduced to volleyball and I instantly fell in love with the sport. I plan to play in college it's been my dream since the moment I fell in love with the sport. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I come from a small town so, everyone is always telling me I won't go anywhere for my sport and I am going to prove them wrong. All my classes are all honors classes, I have been taking honors classes since I was in middle school. Also, I have been taking college classes since my freshman year. I would really love to be able to take my passion and skill to a college. I hope to attend a college that seems like home and would love to be playing for a college team that feels like a family to me.
