Ashley Procious '20 Recruiting Profile

Optimistic, persistent and dedicated are a few of the traits that others have used to describe me.  My club volleyball team, Instinct, team finished second at Nationals over the summer.  We worked hard to come together as a team and set goals for going to nationals.  We played determined and never gave up.  After playing more than six playoff games,  our team of 8 made it to the championship game.  We all were proud of what we accomplished together.  Being a part of that team shows my dedication and perseverance.  We set one goal at a time and kept working hard.  Helping my high school team this year through a rebuilding season has taught me to become more of a leader on and off the court.   I am a dedicated athlete and I work hard everyday to become better.  I love the feeling of reaching my goals and the goals of my team.  I put 100% effort into everything that I do.  Currently, I am taking a welding class and am on a swine show team.  These are things that are not typical, but I wanted to do them to show others that they should go and try new things.   Do the things that make you happy.  I want to play volleyball  in college because I love the game.  It makes me happy.
