I am a very strong-willed person, on and off the court. I am very dedicated and never let something go unfinished. My best trait as a player is not something that can be coached or found through conditioning. My best trait as a player is my leadership and passion. My passion has led me to achieve great things in my four years of volleyball. I am a strong believer that my passion for the game has led me to better my academics and relationships with my peers.
I started on varsity as a freshman, and being a true "freshman" I was unsure of my abilities. Since then I have continued to grow. My speed and knowledge for the game has grown greatly and continues to do so. I have a very strong block, while being very diverse on the court as well. I am able to hit from all three positions across the net, while also being able to step back and play defense in the back row. I am a leader in our schools weight room as well, being one of our programs top lifters.
Being a student athlete requires setting examples and being able to lead fellow students. I take my academics very seriously, having the understanding my grades come first. I believe it is important to have great academic scores just as it is important to be skilled in your sport. Being an athlete comes with being a leader, and having high standards for yourself and your fellow student body.
